na Estónia (19-27.02.2011)
"Tenho participado em alguns intercâmbios nos últimos tempos, e no final guardo sempre uma experiência positiva e enriquecedora, mas este último na Estónia subiu o nível e superou as minhas expectativas.Nunca pensei trocar de chapéu mais de 100 vezes durante uma dança Eslovaca, nunca pensei fazer de pai natal (fitness), nunca pensei tocar piano a 6 mãos ou então comer tantas comidas diferentes em apenas uma noite. Há que dar os parabéns à organização Estónia, grande trabalho, mas também todo o grupo era muito bom. Sim é verdade que muitos já se conheciam, mas a sensação quando nos vamos embora é de que já os conhecemos há anos. Devo realçar também que as workshops que desenvolvemos foram um sucesso, embora tenhamos tido pouco publico, os sortudos que participaram desdobraram-se em elogios no final, pelo menos no meu workshop de fotografia (cof cof).
Acho que assim que voltar a ter oportunidade volto à Estónia, o frio é viciante, as mulheres lindíssimas, e a cidra...ui a cidra. A sauna é um daqueles momentos sociais para repetir, ainda não percebo como é que o meu corpo aguentou sair de 90º da sauna para os -25º lá for a para mergulhar na neve, para os que não acreditam aqui vai uma foto do momento de loucura. Youth Exchange: Work Makes Hppy

"Having the opportunity to take part in the European Youth Exchange meeting in Estonia with the Leitmotiv “Work makes you happy” was simply 100% positive!! (*)
Definitely unprepared to cope with the extremely low temperature characteristic of this northern faraway land, the adventure started by imagining how it is actually possible to live by -20°C? Are those people wearing bear fur daily? Or are they actually hiding underneath the earth through winter season holding on for spring to show up? “Estonia, Estonia, Estonia….Cold! Cold! Cold!” indeed I experienced “THE COLD” of my short life…
But let me tell you about the “real temperature” there…The Estonian hosting team picked the most gorgeous rural place on Saaremaa Island for us to stay; 3 typical wooden houses, including a sauna house (exclusively for us!) right beside a completely frozen sea! The dream-like white landscapes and the breath taking frozen sea became our framework, “our space” for a week…which obviously made it all easier…. To Work and be happy!!!
Our “pretty unique” group of 25 young Europeans was submitted to quite a tight schedule from Sunday morning 9.30am to the next and still, everyone would get involved and spread energy around (especially team leaders, thank you so much for that!) which made it all so much easier for everybody! No one left behind, great spirit/cohesion! Best laugh! Great work! The interactive experiences with the local community, especially with the Estonian teenagers of this tiny rural city, left me with an impressive and unforgettable memory! Aitäh!!Finally, I believe the whole schedule was properly balanced between indoor/outdoor activities, reflection/discussion, visits/actions in the local community, thanks to the Estonian team. To wrap it up, beside visiting Estonia, I (re)visited and (re)discovered four more countries and cultures; Slovakia, Spain, Germany, Portugal (special thanks for making me feel like one of yours!) meeting and sharing this week together with you guys, was the cherry on the cake!"
(*)Ok…maybe 99% positive to be more honest, as I lost my (only) Credit Card on the last night!
